Qualifications and Licencing
NT LICENCING
In Northern Territory, licensing is carried out by Building Practitioners Board and the required Qualifications are carried out by National Skills Pty Ltd
All Building Contractors who operate on jobs in excess of $12000 are required to hold a Trade Contractor or Nominees licence.
A licence or registration may require a combination of technical qualification, experience, skills and knowledge prior to application. One step in the process of gaining your licence or registration is to complete training which has been approved by the licensing body in your state.
BSBSMB401 - ESTABLISH LEGAL AND RISK MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS OF SMALL BUSINESS
This course meets the “Business Managerial Course” requirements to help trade contractors.
Successful completion of the Business Managerial Course helps the participant meet the Business and Building
knowledge requirements to be licensed.
