RPL OR COURSE?

RPL

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process that can be completed in a short time frame. It's based on skills, knowledge and evidence you have already acquired over the years to meet the requirements for these units of competency.

Evidence for RPL may include:

• Proven work experience
• Life experiences (including voluntary work and leisure pursuits)
• Previous study (Qualifications, industry training, professional development programs or units)
• References from qualified persons

RPL can be conducted via online delivery and through workplace training.

If a student fails to demonstrate competency in some units, Gap Training is used to gain competency in those units. It can be customised to suit the individual client needs.

3 months enrolment period to complete RPL.

Course

A Course is a process that can be completed in a longer time frame. It’s designed for those who have little or no previous experience in this field. The course will help train you to achieve the required skills and knowledge needed to gain these units of competency.

Course training requires access to a workplace and tools. Please check the student handbook for the list of resources required for each unit of competency. If you require access to a workplace, you will need to inform National Skills prior to enrolment so we can arrange access to a workplace for you.

This Course can be conducted via online delivery and through workplace training.

This course provides you with the required skills and knowledge to gain the units of competency required for a QBCC Sheds, Carports and Garages Licence.

This course is designed to meet the technical qualification requirements for those who are applying for a QBCC Sheds, Carports and Garages Licence.

The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) have licensing requirements to install Sheds, Carports and Garages

FEES

RPL - $3900

• $1500 on enrolment and $2400 upon completion
• Students have 3 months to provide their evidence.
• 4 Gap Training unit is included at no extra charge (if required).
• Additional Gap Training units are available for $250 each.

Course - $5200

Full upfront payment gives you access to our online training platform and all course material for months. Further time extension can be requested at a cost of $180 per month.

Course Payment Plan - $5400

To make course payments more manageable, we offer a payment plan. This allows you to pay in instalments as you progress through the modules of the course over months. Further time extension can be requested at a cost of $180 per month.

Here’s how it works:

1. Initial Payment: Start with an upfront payment of $1500 at the time of enrolment to secure your online training module to begin the course.
2. Subsequent Payments: The remaining balance will be divided into instalments, which are due at the start of each new module thereafter.
3. Total Balance: The price of the course payment plan is $5400 and will be paid in full by the time you reach the final module.

This structure allows you to pay as you learn and ensures you can continue progressing without requiring full payment upfront.
