This program will provide you with the knowledge and managerial skills to meet the technical qualifications for the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) BO-Builder Open (Site Supervisor) Licence. Check with the QBCC on what the Builder – Open licence allows you to build. This information is available on the QBCC website www.qbcc.qld.gov.au

Entry Requirements	This program does not have any specific entry requirements. However, completion of Year 12 English and Mathematics is recommended. The program meets the technical qualifications requirement of the QBCC Builder - Open licence
Study Duration and Enrolment Periods	Enrolments are taken on an ongoing basis. Students can enrol at any time 24/7 on-line, over the phone or in person during business hours. Enrolment is for a period of 12 months.

Program Articulation	After successful completion of Builder Open – Supervisor, you may continue with your studies by enrolling in CPC60212 Advanced Diploma of Building & Construction (Management) and Building Degrees at University. Some Advanced Diploma competencies count towards a University Degree program.
How to Enrol	Enrolment in this program is based on your completion of the Enrolment Form available on our website www.nationalskills.com.au. Look for: BO-Builder Open - Supervisor OR Builder Open. Also you can enrol in person with an assessor.
Recognition of Prior Learning	Applicants may receive acknowledgment of their knowledge and experiences through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Evidence for RPL may include: work experience life experiences (including voluntary work and leisure pursuits) previous study e.g. qualifications, industry training professional development programs or units

To Achieve the Qualification BUILDER OPEN - SUPERVISOR requires the completion of ALL 4 Core Units of Competency listed in COLUMN 1.
CREDIT TRANSFER & ELIGIBILITY FOR CREDIT in CPC60212 Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management) If you have successfully completed ANY of the following Units of Competency or Qualifications listed in columns 3 OR 4 and you can produce Certified copies of your qualification you will NOT have to enrol in the corresponding Unit of Competency in COLUMN 1 to complete the full Qualification because you will be given Credit for that Unit. You MUST provide Certified of your qualification to National Skills so they can be put on your records. Evidence of your Qualification could include: Certified - Certificates, Academic Transcript from the College you gained the qualification.
